NextGen Automotive Installation

HOW NEXTGEN WAS BORN

NextGen was started in 2015 by the sole owner, Fraser Hiebert. Being a sound
enthusiast, Fraser noticed there was a lack of emphasis on the customer experience and
quality of products offered at a lot of car audio shops. This fuelled Fraser’s desire to find
something better. He visited different stores throughout North America and discovered
businesses that provided an exclusive, high-end experience to its valued customers.
With the goal of bringing that knowledge to Saskatoon, the idea for designing the next
generation of automotive installation standards was born and NextGen opened its doors.

It didn’t take long for NextGen to be rated as Saskatoon’s #1 aftermarket accessory shop.
This accomplishment is due to many things, but mainly the shop’s ability to adapt year
after year to new technology, researching and securing the latest and greatest products,
and always putting quality first in the installations. NextGen takes its team to training
seminars and events year after year and reinvests money into tools and tech that no
other shops offer – such as CNC laser cutting.

NextGen Automotive Installation specializes in 12-volt aftermarket accessories, hi-fidelity
car audio design, and key cutting/programming. NextGen is not your typical “car audio
shop” – it is more of am automotive design and boutique type of store, tailored
specifically to a client’s taste.

NextGen’s core values

1. Customer service and creating value

2. Equality and respect

3. Discovering new talents

4. Creating long lasting relationships

With customer service being number one, these values have helped NextGen build
amazing relationships with clients and other industry partners in Saskatoon. It has also
created a great work atmosphere and dream job for all of its employees. NextGen has an
amazing reputation online and is the go-to store in Saskatoon and area.

Thomas Janzen

Thomas is originally from Germany but came to Canada in 2009 and fell in love with the automotive industry. He is a full journeyman mechanic and we are fortunate to have someone with his skill set on our team.

Fraser Hiebert

Fraser has always had a passion for taking things apart, figuring out how they work and then fixing them – ever since he was a kid working on his mom’s toaster. After Fraser graduated in 2010, he went to SIAST to complete his automotive mechanics pre-emp course and finished top of his class. He then went to New Jersey’s “Mobile Technical Training Institute” to learn 12-volt (automotive) electronics and everything that goes with it – stereos, remote starts, lighting and more. He secured his MECP certification and the
“Top Dog” award here finishing at the top of his class, yet again.

DAVID WILLICK
