Can I buy my own keys?
We DO NOT recommend buying keys online. Many of these low-quality keys have damaged vehicles permanently until they are taken back to the dealership for expensive servicing. We have seen it and dealt with it first hand. If you would like to source your own keys and/or fobs, please download and fill out the liability waiver here, only then will we attempt to program your keys/fobs. Cheap keys can deliver bad information and will corrupt files and information in vehicle computers. Those computers will then have to be replaced and programmed to the vehicle along with new keys. This is VERY expensive, so please proceed at your own risk.
What years, make and models can you do?
We service 99% of vehicles with high-quality factory and aftermarket keys that are safe, reliable, and won’t damage your car. From BMWs and Minis—where dealer keys can take weeks and cost more—to Jaguars, Land Rovers, and Mercedes, we offer faster, more affordable solutions, including ELV/ELS module repairs and key programming. What kind of keys can you program?
From metal and transponder keys to flip, smart, and proximity keys—we handle them all. Want to upgrade? We can even convert your key to a flip style or set you up with a proximity watch that starts your car without a key in hand. Let us know how we can help!
How much does this cost?
Prices range depending on your vehicle, however, we are more cost-effective then taking your car to the dealership. Sometimes you don’t even need to bring us your car, just the key! Please inquire for your specific vehicle.
Do you have my key in stock?
We have lots of keys in stock. If we do not have it in stock currently, we can typically get another key with in one business day from Canadian and American warehouses.
Can you do european vehicles?
Yes, we do European vehicles! Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Landrover, Jaguar, Volvo and Volkswagen are all things we can handle at NextGen. ***Some makes and models are not possible currently – please inquire with us first. ***
Can you come to me?
Locked out or lost your keys? We offer 24/7 mobile service with on-the-go cutting and programming. Serving Saskatoon and beyond—anywhere in Saskatchewan when you need us most.
Can you fix broken keys?
Is your key smashed to bits? We can change the shells in most cases. Honda is very famous for this and we change Honda shells in minutes without having to do any programming to the vehicle and saving you lots of money! Send us a picture and let us know what kind of vehicle it is, maybe we can save you some hard-earned money!
What if I lost all my keys?
All Keys lost? – Have you lost every single method of getting into, or starting your vehicle? No problem. We can decode locks to make a key from scratch and program it to your vehicle. This is a skill that very few locksmiths have without paying the dealership to give you a key code or towing the vehicle to them for programming.
My key doesn't turn the ignition easily or at all?
Honda ignitions often fail due to poorly designed keys—but we can fix it. We rebuild ignitions, cut new keys, and handle the programming—all in one day and at a fraction of dealer costs. Parts are always in stock, so skip the wait and the high price.
Do you do EEPROM work?
We’re among the few locksmiths equipped to handle complex EEPROM work, involving chip-level data extraction with specialized tools and training. Lost all keys for your Toyota, Honda, or Acura? Instead of replacing expensive modules, we can reflash the computer and program new keys—saving you time and money.
